13 For all things must be done in order, and by common consent in the church, by the prayer of faith.
14 And thou shalt assist to settle all these things, according to the covenants of the church, before thou shalt take thy journey among the Lamanites.
15 And it shall be given thee from the time thou shalt go, until the time thou shalt return, what thou shalt do.
16 And thou must open thy mouth at all times, declaring my gospel with the sound of rejoicing. Amen.
This is why we all sustain people.
D&C 78
17 Verily, verily, I say unto you, ye are little children, and ye have not as yet understood how great blessings the Father hath in his own hands and prepared for you;
This is a nice thing to read.
18 And ye cannot bear all things now; nevertheless, be of good cheer, for I will lead you along. The kingdom is yours and the blessings thereof are yours, and the riches of eternity are yours.
This is like driving in the fog at night, your lights light up a few feet in front of you, but that's all you need to get where you're going. The Lord will lead us along if you "let go and let God." That is such a hard concept to grasp and live. But when you do you can have so much peace. I'm not there yet but trying.
19 And he who receiveth all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious; and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even an hundred fold, yea, more.
Be thankful for ALL things including hardship. That is so hard to do.

Oh, yes. Very good things to remember.
Good analogy to put it to... Driving in fog or driving at night... Maybe driving period. We hardly know much further down the road... even in daylight we don't see the end of the path. It just makes us feel like we have more control when we can see. Silliness in us though, because we might just find out it's a lot safer to be in the dark and trust God than to think we have it all under control.
That is true, that's part of Let Go and Let God, and it's not easy.
